Another green weekend!

Snow outside, music inside. We had a lot of fun playing some new songs after a big fight with all the leads forming a spaghetti mountain. Anyway, here are the pics!

Mon frere Eugene ma demande d'ecrire un texte en francais pour le chanson Raggahman. C'est un premiere pour moi mais il faut faire un effort n'est ce pas?
Voici l'histoire de Raggahman que j'ai ecrit il y a 5 minutes;

Raggahman

Je te raconte l'histoire du raggahman,
il etait seul dans l'ocean des hommes ordinaires.
Son ame sentait que Jah lui carresait
avec ses rayons de lumiere.

Le son de la musique qu'il entendait
lui donnait le rythme de sa vie
il savait que l'amour de Jah est eternel
et entre terre et ciel le vent du reggae lui emmenera

vers son destin terrestre
rien autre que d'etre
un veritable raggahman
avant tout autres choses humains

Le temps est venu
rien est prevu
c'est aujourdhui et pas demain
que l'esclave va couper ses liens
avec le maitre des communs
le bete du monnaie
qui fait de lui moins que rien
un ombre de son vrai destin.

Le rue de Spa, c'est un "work in progress" !!

Le debut

C'était mon frere Eugene qui venait de proposer ce projet il y a 3 mois. Puisque on n'avait plus fait de la musique ensemble pendant un an l'idee etait bienvenue pour la bande d'amis d'antan.
Hans had all the expertise we needed to make it a great voyage into his musical universe; Reggae!! Also he introduced Martin to us, a great drummer as we soon found out!
3 weeks ago we recorded our first nine songs as demo's at Hans's place in the Ardennes, Rue de Spa.
We hadden een te gek weekend en een goed begin gemaakt met ons reggae project!
